After the sudden loss of her mother, a young girl is sent to live with her estranged grandfather, a solitary farmer, having never met, the two are bound together by a vow of silence and work towards building a relationship whilst tending to the land.

About the Character:
Lead Role (55 and up)
- A man of the land, he has always lived and worked on his farm. The land passed down for generations. Years before our story, Bernie became es- tranged from his daughter. His guilt manifests in a vow of silence after his daughters death. But still he continues to work the land, when Elsie arrives his world is turned upside down and he must begin to process his grief and accept the responsibility of fatherhood once more.

Scheduled to be filmed around Guildford in Feb - March of 2025
Two-week shoot is divided between February and April. Dates are flexible depending on the actors' availability.
