Project Title: 'The Flood: A Musical'
The Flood, an evocative new production brought to life by a cast of five talented actor-musicians. On Boxing Day 2015, the picturesque Yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge was devastated by the worst floods in a century. Homes and businesses were submerged, leaving the town in crisis. But as the waters rose, so did the spirit of the Valley. Neighbours banded together, artists found new inspiration, and the town rebuilt itself from the ground up, united in purpose.
Role: Male Actor - Musician, playing age mid-40s to mid 50s
Requirements:
Applicants must:
- Be strong character actors with the ability to play multiple roles and a good ear for accents
- Be vocally strong with a good ear for harmonies
- Play at least one portable instrument to a high standard (grades and music theory are not a necessity)
